I have been amazed by the natural talent that exists in our rural society. There was this man who visited our sugar mill today, as he was called for survey of the sugarcane fields and to suggest the improvements if any in the process and the procedure to increase the per acre output of cane and also to get the best variety too. Looking extremely down to earth and typical villager, that man is a farmer by profession, earns good enough for his family expenses all by agricultural output only, had studied microbiology as subject in 1970s (can you imagine that!!! ), and uses his knowledge of microbiology in the practical day to today uses to help his fields and other farmers too for increasing their farm output. He is known till lucknow and have great following among the local and statewide officers and business class alike.
One of the reasons for that is also the reason that he is an acupressure specialist. He knows some common yet highly effective technique of healing the general body ailments through acupressure. He does not believe in ‘ativaad’, i.e. overdoing some thing, and does his therapy only to the point where the body is comfortable. My dad was having this cervical pain for last some days, and inspite of taking a full course of medicines and 5 injections too, there was hardly much relief. This man, he did, some small therapeutic exercise for 15 min barely and there was 80% relief immediately. I mean more than anything else his straight forward approach and simplicity in the procedure is what caught my attention and fantasy.
Rural India is filled with achievers like him. People, who are really really knowledged and experienced too, but never really come to limelight. Most of these people work on voluntary basis without any prejudice. Perhaps this also explains the reason why in spite of such huge population and lack in appropriate number of doctors, per capita diseases and expenditure towards health is one of the lowest in India, across the whole world.
I feel where the Indian government has failed or been short on performance in terms of health sectors efforts is not that it has not been able to allocate funds for the cause. Its that it has not been able to identify these people and take them along with it. Even if you make some hospital and there is some doctor sitting there, I doubt the kind of help that person can really provide. My dad took medicines worth of 3k, in matter of 7 days, causing numerous side effects some of which are not even known right now, and had little or no good done to him. Whereas the other procedure took hardly 15 min, not even a single rupee, and gave 80% relief. In a matter of 3 sittings the whole is supposed to vanish!!!
Think over it!!!!

In thing these days
I get to hear some things quite too often these days
1) Americans are bloody spenders, we Indians are far far better than them.
2) Smoking will cause all the possible medical problems to you EVER seen or faced by humanity.
3) India will be at the top of the new world regime.
4) Manmohan singh is the most capable leader for this country. (I doubt it big time)
5) Derivatives trading is the IN thing. (This is said by traders who started their careers in late 80s or 90s, I think their time is over now)
6) Aajkal business hain hi kahan yaar, mandi ne maar diye. (just look at the NANO booking figures and get your perception right)
7) Job to jhand hain. (classic line…he he)
8) Earth is dying….save the earth.

Who gives in first
This is a classic discussion strategy in the game theory. There are many points of contentions in day today life. Like between two companies for negotiations, or between a married couple for some house chore, or between parents and child for a toy or something, or between boyfriend and girlfriend, or just friends for ego. All these have just one question...”Who gives in first?”
As per game theory you need to show that you are not affected by the outcome of the deal and this enhances your position as a successful negotiator. However the arguments should not be dealt with arbitrarily either as it would hamper the chances of any possible negotiation itself.
You need to show yourself as strong candidate, but at the same time you should come out as interested one as well. This will keep the opposition on backfoot, as well as involved with a possible solution. It’s a tricky line to toe, but a worthy one beyond doubt.

bhagwa rang
It so amazes me that the color chosen for their clothes, by the saints and learned people across the traditions and cultures is the saffron or the ‘bhagwa rang’ in hindi. Be it be Chinese monks, buddisht preachers, vedic saints etc. It’s considered to be a color of virility, aggression and calmness at the same time, don’t know why is it being frowned upon in modern Indian society.
First of all I am sick of that one little dickhead fellow Gandhi. Our country has never been a peaceful and non-violent nation at all. There were hundred of kingdoms in this land, and all were at fight with each other all the time. The war was an exercise of manhood. All the great cultures of this land idolized weapons, and sung great hymns for the brave. Even the prayer sung by Gandhi himself , ‘raghupati raghav raja raam’, was of lord rama, who was the greatest archer and who defeated the demons in the bloodiest battle ever.
Why have we been made subjective to the feminine figure, which doesn’t fight back? And it shows in our laggard foreign policy, complete failure to fight the Pakistan menance, and general directionless approach with the neighbours.
It is so just not true and needs to be changed. Be aggressive, fight back for your rights, burn down the wrong and kill the demon, by the way also the gandhigiri stupidity(doesn’t it amaze that the person teaching gandhigiri is the one who was convicted for keeping AK47 rifle and be part of india’s biggest terrorist conspiracy!!!).

JAI HO
i love kids
Kids are great. Their high energy and enthusiasm is so infatuating. They are the best stress busters. But they are at times the biggest stress themselves too.
I am experiencing the same these days, as there are two kids of my cousin who have visited us for holidays. One is a toddler, and the other one is 4 years old. Managing both of them is like the biggest task I have seen ever. Man they drive people crazy.
While one wants to see the Bal Ganesh cartoon, other one is simply crying for no apparent reasons, next moment the first one says that ganesh is not dancing, and the other one has just pooped….
Man now I know why marriage is stresses upon by parents and why people get married actually after they become bored of their loneliness. A child can fill all the time you have and all the place you have, doesn’t matter how big a palace you live in. You can imagine what a good (;) time the historic Indian housewifes would used to have, raising almost a dozen children . Seeing my cousins, I feel even today the women enjoy their motherhood the most. It keeps them on their toes and fully occupied all the time.
So for all those single couples….feeling bored??? Well get married and make babies or atleast ‘a baby’…and be ready for an adventurous ride ahead…hahahaha
